Uncle SS cried because the believers did not have a place to meet for worship. At first they held their worship at the public school for 4 Sundays and then the authorities stopped them. After that they took tents and pitched them on the plot of land that they purchased and they held their worship service for 3 Sundays.

 

Then all of them joined together to cut bamboo and got some grass for the roof and other things that they needed to build a church building large enough for more than a hundred people. Right now they are rejoicing in the Lord and their bamboo church.

 

But now the authorities have started to ask them to cease from their worship service unless they get an official recognition paper from the official in the capital city. If they don’t, they won’t be able to continue their worship service. There are many house churches which are not officially recognized by the government. Please pray.
